Group Travel Expert

Coming from a large family you could say I've always been a group travel expert. I have used my expertise in special needs travel to create a self drive route 66 itinerary. This trip allows for group and individual focus. While the rooming information will be on a group basis, the travel to each state and historic stop will be independent interest. This works best for this type of group. 

Working with a more traditional group, I created an affinity group of individuals who knew each other by frequenting a local restaurant/tavern. I had met with the pied piper of the group when working on an earlier trip to Las Vegas. She had a group of people interested in taking a 5-7 day cruise to the Virgin Islands and Dominican Republic. They had only experienced Royal Caribbean at this point but were open to other sailings.We set a date to meet with the group of individuals.

Three double occupancy cabins and one single had been requested prior to my attending the meeting so I had a little time to do research and come prepared to offer solutions.Using their requests as a basis I prepared documentation and a short power point presentation outlining the difference in Royal Caribbean, NCL and Celebrity Cruise line.The group was made up of a mix of genders with a median age of 55.

None of the groups members were too interested in Virgin although they did remark that children on the trip would not be a focus although it would not be a detriment. After looking through the suggested packages it was decided that NCL would provide the largest value.

Four cabins were reserved initially with another six being held. After a few weeks two more cabins had deposits. Another cruise night was planned which resulted in the remaining cabins being secured.

We decided to use the additional Travel Credit for additional perks for the group. The voyage takes place in February 2025 and will include a bon voyage cocktail party as well as upgraded amenities for the original cruise participants. I look forward to creating a package for your group or fund raising event!
